Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Full Stack Engineer role based in Mexico City, Mexico. The Junior Full Stack Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that support Imagene Health’s precision medicine platform and internal tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services, integrating APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, clinical, and data teams.



The role involves writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in deploying features that improve physician and patient experiences. The engineer will work closely with senior team members to learn best practices, follow established development workflows, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with healthcare data standards. Qualifications
• Front-end engineering skills, including Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Back-end web engineering skills, including Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
• End-to-end product development skills, including Full-Stack Development and integration of front-end and back-end services.
• Basic knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, HTML5), version control systems (e.g., Git), and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code, follow coding standards, and collaborate in code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working in on-site, multidisciplinary teams; prior experience or interest in healthcare or genomics is a plus.
