About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions in the tourism sector, is seeking an experienced and proactive Supervisor de Operaciones de Logística to oversee their operations in Cancún, Quintana Roo. This critical role involves managing day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring efficient flow of goods, coordinating with drivers and suppliers, and maintaining high standards of service. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in logistics supervision, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of operational best practices. Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing daily logistics operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and delivery.
- Managing and motivating a team of logistics staff, including drivers and warehouse personnel.
- Ensuring efficient route planning and execution to meet delivery schedules.
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock management.
- Collaborating with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and operational standards.
- Resolving operational issues and customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities and preparing performance reports.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.




- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in managing teams and overseeing daily operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the tourism industry's logistical needs is a plus.
- Ability to work in Cancún, Quintana Roo and adapt to operational demands.
