About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled Técnico de Mantenimiento Industrial (Multifuncional) to join their team. This role supports various operational needs, with the flexibility of being primarily remote, though occasional on-site visits might be required for specific complex tasks or assessments in or around Zapopan, Jalisco . The adecuado candidate will possess a broad range of skills in mechanical, electrical, and basic facility maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and facilities through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and troubleshooting. This is a hands‑on role that allows for significant autonomy and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, supporting our operations from a remote‑first perspective.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment (mechanical and electrical).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to plant operations, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Conduct basic facility maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and minor structural repairs as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks, parts used, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers as required.




- Provide remote support and guidance for on‑site personnel when possible.
- Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules and projects.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, demonstrating skills across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, primarily in a remote setting.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for essential on‑site tasks in the Zapopan, Jalisco region.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with remote and on‑site teams.
