Our client, a leading India-focused investment platform is looking to engage with an experienced advisorwill be responsible for upgradingthe organizations' existing foundry operations, with a focus on no-bake technology, large iron castings (3-5 tonnes), process improvement and quality enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve existing green sand and no-bake foundry operations.
- Drive process optimisation for large iron castings (3-5 tonnes).
- Identify root causes of casting defects and implement measures to reduce rejection and rework.
- Upgrade foundry technology, including moulding, core-making, gating, risering and pouring processes.
- Improve manufacturing productivity, process efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Establish quality-control systems, process standards and SOPs.
- Introduce integral foundry best practices and manufacturing excellence methodologies.
- Train and mentor existing production, quality and engineering teams.
