About the Role

Our client, a integral leader in supply chain management, is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Especialista en Logística de Almacenes a Granel (Remoto) to join their distributed operations team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico. The role is focused on optimizing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety of bulk warehousing operations across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, bulk material handling, and supply chain optimization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and driving continuous improvement in our client's extensive warehousing network.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and improve existing warehouse processes for bulk materials handling, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory tracking and control.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping bulk goods.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as throughput, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipments.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies related to bulk storage, handling, and transportation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, procurement, sales) and external partners (transportation providers, suppliers) to ensure smooth supply chain flow.




- Conduct virtual site audits and performance reviews of warehouse facilities.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in bulk warehousing and logistics.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations and logistics, with a specialization in bulk materials.
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent understanding of inventory management principles, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and enforcing SOPs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office Suite, WMS platforms).
