About the Role

Our client, a key supplier within the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a diligent Process Quality Engineer for their facility in Acapulco, Guerrero . This is an on-site position focused on ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our production processes. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving manufacturing operations to meet stringent automotive quality benchmarks. The adecuado candidate has a solid background in quality engineering, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of quality management systems and statistical process control (SPC). This role is critical for maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement quality control plans for manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production lines, conduct regular inspections, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize statistical tools, including SPC, to track process variations and ensure consistency.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, such as IATF 16949.
- Prepare quality reports, performance metrics, and documentation for management review.




- Participate in internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality systems.
- Train production personnel on quality procedures and standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) tools and techniques.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in Spanish; basic English comprehension is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Acapulco, Guerrero .
