About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding fintech company with operations potentially serving the Puebla, Puebla region, is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Analista de Cumplimiento Normativo Financiero (FinCompliance Analyst). This role is critical in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations, laws, and industry standards. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on business operations, and developing/implementing compliance policies and procedures. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere while maintaining close communication with internal teams and external regulators.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in financial regulations and legislation applicable to the company's operations.
- Assess the impact of new regulations on business processes, products, and services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct regular compliance training for employees across various departments.
- Perform internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Investigate and report on any compliance breaches or suspected misconduct.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during examinations and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Contribute to the development of a strong compliance culture within the organization.




- Stay updated on industry best practices in financial compliance and risk management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Solid understanding of relevant financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, data privacy, consumer protection).
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and compliance management software is a plus.
- Although the role is remote, familiarity with the regulatory landscape relevant to operations in states like Puebla, Puebla is advantageous.
