About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Ingeniero de Soporte Técnico Remoto para Equipos de Manufactura to join their global, remote-based team. This role is instrumental in providing advanced technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for complex manufacturing equipment used by clients worldwide. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges without on-site presence. You will be a key player in ensuring the operational continuity and efficiency of manufacturing processes by leveraging remote monitoring and diagnostic tools. Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert remote technical support and diagnostics for advanced manufacturing machinery, including CNC machines, automation systems, and robotics.
- Analyze real-time data, sensor outputs, and error logs to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with on-site field service engineers and client technical teams to guide troubleshooting and repair efforts.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and resolution procedures.
- Act as a technical liaison between the client, field service teams, and internal R&D; departments.
- Monitor equipment performance remotely, identifying potential failures and recommending proactive maintenance interventions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment by providing detailed feedback on performance and reliability.
- Manage and prioritize incoming technical support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.




- Stay current with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology, automation, and diagnostic tools.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineers, operators, and management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in supporting or maintaining complex manufacturing equipment.
- Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, automation, and control systems used in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using remote diagnostic software, data analysis tools, and network communication protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networks is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and schematics.
