About the Role

Our client, an esteemed educational foundation in Morelia, Michoacán , is seeking an experienced Pedagogical and Curriculum Design Consultant. This role focuses on advising and collaborating with educational institutions and instructors to enhance their teaching methodologies and curriculum structures. You will provide expert guidance on effective pedagogical strategies, learning theories, and best practices in curriculum development to foster student engagement and academic success. This is a project-based contract position, requiring a dedicated professional who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to educational challenges within the Morelia region.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct needs assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement in existing curricula and pedagogical approaches.
- Provide expert consultation on the design and development of effective, engaging curricula aligned with learning outcomes.
- Advise instructors on the implementation of diverse and innovative teaching strategies suited for various learning environments.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for educators on pedagogical best practices and curriculum design.
- Develop frameworks and resources to support ongoing curriculum review and enhancement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented pedagogical changes and curriculum adjustments.

Requirements

- Master's degree or PhD in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in pedagogical consulting, curriculum development, or instructional design.
- Demonstrated expertise in learning theories, instructional design models, and curriculum development frameworks.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training and workshops for educators.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with diverse educational institutions and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current educational technologies and their pedagogical applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
