About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze complex datasets to identify, assess, and quantify insurance-related risks.
- Develop and maintain risk models to predict potential losses and inform underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to establish risk appetite and pricing guidelines.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging risks that may impact the insurance portfolio.




- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on risk assessments for management.
- Recommend strategies for risk mitigation and portfolio optimization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management.
- Stay current with advancements in risk modeling techniques and analytical tools.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk analysis, actuarial, or a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and modeling techniques.
- In-depth understanding of insurance products, markets, and risk management principles.
- Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
- Experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment.
