About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Ingeniero de Transmisión y Señales to join their engineering department in Zapopan, Jalisco . This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of robust transmission systems and signal integrity across our client's telecommunications network. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies to ensure reliable data transfer and high-quality signal reception. The idóneo candidate possesses a strong theoretical background in signal processing and transmission techniques, combined with practical experience in network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

- Design and engineer transmission systems, including microwave, fiber optic, and satellite links.
- Analyze and optimize signal integrity for various communication channels.
- Configure and manage transmission equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal degradation, interference, and transmission failures.
- Develop and implement strategies for capacity planning and network expansion related to transmission systems.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis of transmission links and signal quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new transmission technologies into the existing network.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of transmission systems, configurations, and procedures.




- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in transmission and signal processing technologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in telecommunications network engineering, with a specific focus on transmission systems and signal integrity.
- Strong understanding of signal propagation, modulation techniques, and error correction codes.
- Experience with transmission equipment such as multiplexers, transceivers, amplifiers, and antennas.
- Proficiency in using signal analysis tools and equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes).
- Knowledge of relevant standards and protocols (e.g., ITU-T, IEEE).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in Zapopan, Jalisco is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in telecommunications or RF engineering are a plus.
