About the Role

Our client, a prominent logistics and distribution company, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operador de Montacargas Senior to join their dynamic team in Torreón, Coahuila . This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our client's state-of-the-art warehouse facilities. The adecuado candidate will possess a proven track record in operating various types of forklifts and a deep understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols. As a Senior Operator, you will not only be responsible for material handling but also for mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements. Key Responsibilities

- Operating various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks, order pickers) to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products.
- Accurately picking and staging orders according to pick lists and dispatch instructions.
- Performing pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on forklifts, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Safely stacking and organizing inventory in designated warehouse areas, ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers efficiently and securely, following all safety guidelines.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.




- Providing guidance and training to less experienced forklift operators.
- Collaborating with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a forklift operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proficiency in operating a wide range of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels, safety signs, and warehouse documentation.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in a similar role in Torreón, Coahuila , is a plus.
