About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Lean Construction Specialist to drive process optimization and efficiency improvements within their construction operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for implementing Lean methodologies, identifying bottlenecks, and developing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve project outcomes across various construction sites. The adecuado candidate will have a deep understanding of Lean principles, extensive experience in process improvement within the construction industry, and a passion for continuous innovation. You will work closely with project teams to embed Lean thinking into daily operations and foster a culture of efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement Lean construction strategies to improve workflow, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
- Analyze current construction processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Lean principles and tools for project teams.
- Collaborate with site managers and project teams to implement best practices in workflow management, supply chain optimization, and site logistics.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, waste reduction, and project timelines.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving across the organization.
- Document successful Lean implementations and share lessons learned.




- Utilize data analysis to support decision-making and measure the impact of implemented changes.
- Provide remote guidance and support to site teams to ensure effective adoption of Lean practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean implementation, process improvement, or operations management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing/construction principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Last Planner System).
- Proven ability to analyze complex processes and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and training skills.
- Experience with data analysis and performance measurement tools.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with digital collaboration tools is essential.
- Knowledge of construction project management software is a plus.
