About the Role

Our client, a prominent corporation with significant operations, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Gerente de Tesorería y Banca Corporativa to lead their treasury functions in Acapulco, Guerrero . This executive role is responsible for managing the company's cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk exposures. The idóneo candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate treasury, financial markets, and strategic financial planning. You will play a crucial part in optimizing the company's capital structure, managing financial instruments, and ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic objectives. We are looking for a proactive leader with strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex financial operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and strategic growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the company's cash management, liquidity, and working capital.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the company's capital structure and funding.
- Manage relationships with commercial banks and financial institutions, negotiating terms and services.
- Administer and monitor financial instruments, including debt, foreign exchange, and interest rate hedging.
- Ensure compliance with all treasury-related policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial forecasts and budgets related to treasury operations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and counterparty risks.
- Manage investment of surplus cash in accordance with company policy.




- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on treasury matters.
- Lead and develop the treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- A CFA or CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, financial instruments, and risk management techniques.
- Proven experience in managing banking relationships and negotiating financial agreements.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and financial modeling.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work strategically and operationally in a dynamic environment.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Acapulco, Guerrero and work in a hybrid capacity.
