About the Role

Our client, a prestigious marketing and advertising agency located in Cuernavaca, Morelos, MX , is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Senior Copywriter to join their creative department. This hybrid role requires a wordsmith with a proven ability to craft compelling, persuasive, and on-brand copy for a wide array of advertising and marketing materials. You will be responsible for developing creative concepts, writing engaging headlines and body copy, and ensuring consistency in tone and voice across all client communications. The idóneo candidate possesses exceptional linguistic talent, a deep understanding of consumer psychology, and a passion for creating impactful narratives that drive results. You will collaborate closely with art directors, designers, and strategists to bring creative visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative concepts and write compelling copy for advertising campaigns, including print, digital, broadcast, and social media.
- Craft engaging headlines, taglines, slogans, and body copy that resonate with target audiences.
- Write scripts for video and radio advertisements.
- Ensure all copy is on-brand, grammatically correct, and free of errors.
- Collaborate with art directors and designers to develop integrated campaign concepts.




- Conduct research on target audiences, market trends, and client products/services.
- Present creative ideas and copy rationale to clients and internal teams.
- Adapt writing style and tone to suit different brands and platforms.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a copywriter, preferably within an advertising agency.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Spanish.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative copywriting work.
- Proven ability to develop creative concepts and translate them into compelling copy.
- Understanding of marketing principles and advertising strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid team environment based in Cuernavaca, Morelos, MX.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO best practices is a plus.
