About the Role

Our client, a major player in the distribution and logistics sector, is seeking a seasoned Director de Operaciones y Logística de Cadena de Suministro for their key facility in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution, to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The idóneo candidate will possess extensive experience in supply chain management, a strong understanding of logistics, and exceptional leadership and analytical skills. You will be instrumental in optimizing operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods to meet customer demands in the region served from Tuxtla Gutiérrez . This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations.
- Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost control.
- Manage inventory levels, optimize stock rotation, and minimize waste.
- Direct and manage transportation fleets and third-party logistics providers.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control and tracking systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction throughout the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations and logistics team.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales,



and customer service departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze supply chain data to forecast demand, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale warehousing and distribution operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, transportation, and customs regulations (if applicable).
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing market demands.
