About the Role

Our client, a dynamic company specializing in avionics solutions, is seeking an Avionics Systems Test and Validation Engineer. This role offers a hybrid work model, with opportunities for both remote work and on-site collaboration at their facility in Puebla, Puebla . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting tests for complex avionics systems, ensuring they meet rigorous performance, reliability, and safety standards. The adecuado candidate possesses a strong understanding of avionics hardware and software, test methodologies, and a keen ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your work will be critical in delivering high-quality avionics products for the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for avionics systems, including functional, performance, and integration testing.
- Execute tests using a variety of methods, including simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and ground/flight testing support.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with design and development engineers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies.
- Prepare test reports and summaries for project stakeholders.
- Maintain test equipment and laboratory environments.




- Support system integration efforts by verifying component and subsystem interactions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and validation of complex electronic systems, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Solid understanding of avionics systems, communication protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553), and embedded software.
- Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with testing standards relevant to aviation software and hardware.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities in Puebla, Puebla .
- Fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English is required.
