About the Role

Our client, a cutting-edge digital media production house, is seeking a talented 2D Animator and Motion Graphics Designer to join their creative team in Toluca, State of Mexico, MX . This hybrid role is perfect for an artist with a passion for bringing stories to life through dynamic animation and captivating motion graphics. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing animated sequences for explainer videos, marketing content, social media campaigns, and interactive projects. The idóneo candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in 2D animation techniques and motion graphics software, a keen artistic eye, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced production environment. You will play a key role in elevating our clients' brands through visually compelling and engaging animated content.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality 2D animations, character animations, and motion graphics for various digital platforms.
- Develop storyboards and animatics to visualize animated sequences and ensure narrative flow.
- Design and animate characters, objects, and backgrounds according to project specifications.
- Edit and assemble animated sequences, incorporating sound effects and music.
- Collaborate closely with art directors, video editors, and content creators to achieve project goals.




- Ensure all animations and motion graphics align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a 2D Animator or Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation and design software, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and potentially Toon Boom Harmony or similar 2D animation software.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, spacing, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with video editing software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
