About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded educational institution in Acapulco, Guerrero , is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psicólogo/a Educativo/a con Enfoque en Infancia . This role is vital for supporting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our young students. You will be responsible for providing counseling services, conducting psychological assessments, and developing intervention strategies to address behavioral and learning challenges. The idóneo candidate possesses a deep understanding of child psychology and development, with a proven ability to create a supportive and safe environment for children. This position is based on-site at our campus in Acapulco , requiring direct interaction with students, staff, and parents. Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing emotional, behavioral, and social concerns.
- Conduct psychological assessments, including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations.
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support students with learning difficulties or behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive network for students.
- Facilitate workshops for students, parents, and staff on topics related to mental health, emotional regulation, and positive discipline.
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support and follow-up.




- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide programs promoting mental health and well-being.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of all assessments and interventions.

Requirements

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent development, or a related field.
- Licensed Psychologist in Mexico.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an educational or child psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning theories, and psychological assessment tools.
- Excellent counseling, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Proficient in developing and delivering psychoeducational programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and school staff.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of children.
