About the Role

Our client, an innovative firm specializing in airport management solutions, is seeking a proactive and analytical Especialista en Aeropuertos y Operaciones Terrestres to join their team. This role will focus on optimizing ground operations, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety standards at various airports, with a significant focus on projects related to the region of Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airport infrastructure, ramp operations, and logistical challenges. This is a remote position, offering flexibility while requiring dedicated engagement with airport stakeholders and internal teams to drive operational improvements. You will play a key role in shaping the future of airport ground management through insightful analysis and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze current airport ground operations, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, safety, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices for ramp management, baggage handling, and aircraft turnaround.
- Collaborate with airport authorities, airlines, and ground handling services to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ground operations and report findings to management.
- Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for infrastructure development and equipment needs.
- Ensure all ground operations comply with relevant aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in training airport staff on new procedures and safety protocols.




- Research and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance airport ground operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on operational performance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport operations, ground handling, or aviation logistics.
- Demonstrated understanding of airport infrastructure and ground support equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in project management and operational planning.
- Experience with aviation safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with the specific operational context of airports in regions like Oaxaca City, Oaxaca is a plus.
