About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Ejecutivo de Tráfico y Transporte Terrestre to manage their transportation operations remotely. This crucial role involves planning, executing, and monitoring all road freight movements to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The adecuado candidate will have a deep understanding of the Mexican transportation network, excellent negotiation skills with carriers, and a proven ability to optimize routes and schedules. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and schedule all domestic freight movements via road, ensuring efficiency and compliance with delivery timelines.
- Select and negotiate rates with carriers, building strong relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Track and trace shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to stakeholders and addressing any delays or issues.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and transit times.
- Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations, permits, and documentation requirements.
- Analyze transportation costs and performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Manage claims for damaged or lost goods, working with carriers and insurance providers to resolve issues.




- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams (logistics, sales, customer service) and external partners.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic management, freight forwarding, or transportation logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican road transportation regulations and geography.
- Proven experience in carrier negotiation and rate management.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and relevant software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
