About the Role

Our client, a prominent logistics and transportation company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinador de Logística de Transporte to join their team in Morelia, Michoacán . This role is crucial for optimizing the flow of goods, managing a fleet of vehicles, and ensuring timely deliveries across the region. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage all daily transportation operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and driver compliance.
- Manage relationships with third-party carriers and logistics providers.

- Track shipments, provide real-time updates to stakeholders, and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
- Prepare reports on transportation costs, delivery performance, and fleet utilization.




- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transportation logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the Morelia area.
- Proven experience in route planning, fleet management, and carrier negotiation.
- Proficiency in logistics software and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing responsibilities both remotely and in the office.
