About the Role

Our client, a growing logistics provider, is seeking a proactive and experienced Gestor de Operaciones Logísticas to oversee and manage daily operations at their facility in Morelia, Michoacán, MX. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods, managing warehouse activities, and coordinating transportation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a key operational team in a strategic location for our client.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement measures to maintain it.
- Coordinate transportation logistics with carriers to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.




- Manage operational budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work adaptable hours and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Knowledge of safety best practices in warehouse environments.
- Experience with transportation management is a plus.
