About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Head of New Market Development to spearhead expansion efforts into untapped territories. This senior management position is based in Torreón, Coahuila, MX , but the role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The idóneo candidate will possess a deep understanding of market entry strategies, international business development, and cross-cultural communication. You will be responsible for identifying promising new markets, conducting feasibility studies, developing market entry plans, and building strong relationships with local partners and stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and establish a strong market presence in new regions. You will work closely with the executive team to align market development initiatives with the company's overall growth objectives. Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate potential new markets for business expansion, conducting thorough market research and feasibility studies.
- Develop comprehensive market entry strategies, including business models, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential partners, distributors, and key influencers in target markets.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements with new partners and suppliers.
- Oversee the launch of new products and services in identified markets, ensuring successful adoption.
- Monitor market performance, competitive activities, and regulatory changes in expansion territories.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product development)



to ensure successful market penetration.
- Manage the budget for new market development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on market development progress and key metrics.
- Adapt strategies to local cultural nuances and business practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- An MBA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in international business development, market entry, or global expansion roles.
- Proven success in identifying and developing new markets, particularly in Latin America and/or other international regions.
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across different cultures.
- Experience in managing budgets and forecasting revenue for new ventures.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
