About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Jefe de Turno de Manufactura to oversee production operations during a specific shift in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, MX . This critical role ensures that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with high-quality output. The successful candidate will lead a team of production operators and supervisors, manage daily operations, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity. This is an on-site position requiring strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all production activities during assigned shift to meet output and quality goals.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of production operators and supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
- Monitor production equipment and processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage shift schedules, labor allocation, and attendance.
- Collaborate with other shift supervisors, maintenance, and quality control departments.
- Track production performance metrics and report on shift activities and results.




- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory or lead role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including nights and weekends, as required by shift schedules.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Residency or willingness to relocate to Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, MX .
