About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director de Operaciones de Transporte Digital to lead the strategic development and execution of our digital logistics platforms and services. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the digital transformation of our transportation operations, enhancing customer experience, driving operational efficiency through technology, and scaling our digital offerings. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, deep technical understanding, and a passion for innovation in the logistics space.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for digital transportation operations, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of digital platforms for load planning, dispatch, tracking, and communication.
- Oversee the integration of advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT for enhanced route optimization, predictive maintenance, and real-time visibility.
- Manage a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, data scientists, and operations specialists dedicated to digital solutions.
- Drive the adoption and utilization of digital tools across the organization and with external partners.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, and scalability.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the digital operations team.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer journey and effective service delivery.




- Manage the budget for digital operations and technology investments.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in digital logistics and transportation.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in transportation and logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on digital transformation or technology implementation.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products or services in the logistics sector.
- Deep understanding of modern logistics technologies, including TMS, WMS, IoT, AI/ML, and data analytics platforms.
- Experience in managing remote teams and fostering collaboration in a distributed environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation within an organization.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
