Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and integrate software for automotive control units (ECUs) related to powertrain, chassis, and ADAS.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in C/C++.
- Implement and optimize control algorithms based on system requirements and performance targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and validation teams to define software requirements and ensure system integration.
- Debug complex software issues and performance problems in a timely manner.




- Participate in code reviews and adhere to strict coding standards and software development processes.
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of software development tools and methodologies.
- Stay current with automotive standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262) and emerging technologies.
- Effectively communicate technical details and project status in a remote, international team environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, with a significant focus on automotive control systems.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded applications.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and automotive middleware (e.g., AUTOSAR).
- Deep understanding of control theory and its application in automotive systems.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
- Familiarity with automotive functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques, including HIL simulators.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
