About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and dedicated Sustainability and Cleaning Programs Coordinator to drive environmental responsibility within their operations in Cuernavaca . This role will focus on integrating sustainable practices into all cleaning and sanitation procedures, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting resource efficiency. You will be responsible for researching and implementing eco-friendly cleaning solutions, managing waste reduction initiatives, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sustainability strategies focused on cleaning operations, including waste reduction, water conservation, and energy efficiency.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend eco-friendly cleaning products and methods.
- Oversee the proper management and disposal of waste, emphasizing recycling and composting programs.
- Monitor and report on the environmental impact of cleaning operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.
- Train cleaning staff on sustainable practices and the use of green cleaning products and equipment.




- Collaborate with vendors to source sustainable cleaning supplies and materials.
- Organize and lead initiatives related to environmental awareness and sustainability within the workplace.
- Manage specific projects related to the company's sustainability goals.

Requirements

- Proven experience in sustainability coordination, environmental management, or a related role, ideally with a focus on cleaning or facility operations.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainable practices, and green cleaning principles.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with environmental reporting tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience working within the Cuernavaca region is advantageous.
