About the Role

Our client, a leading organization in the tourism and hospitality sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director(a) de Proyectos Estratégicos to join their dynamic team in Cancún, Quintana Roo . This pivotal role will involve overseeing a portfolio of complex projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, expanding service offerings, and driving innovation within the company's diverse business units. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong track record in managing large-scale initiatives from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for strategic initiatives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners.
- Manage project budgets effectively, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.




- Align project outcomes with the overall strategic vision and business goals of the organization in Cancún, Quintana Roo .
- Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts that may arise during project execution.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
- Residency or willingness to relocate to or commute regularly to Cancún, Quintana Roo .
