About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead critical initiatives focused on enhancing production processes and operational efficiency. This role is vital for driving improvements in manufacturing lines, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the smooth execution of production-related projects. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and be adept at managing complex projects from conception to completion. You will play a key role in optimizing our client's manufacturing capabilities and maintaining their competitive edge in the market, based in Toluca, State of Mexico .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute project plans for manufacturing and production improvements.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for manufacturing initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, production staff, and quality control personnel.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Manage the integration of new technologies and equipment into production lines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, Lean Manufacturing).
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.




- Coordinate with suppliers and external vendors for equipment and material procurement.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience in managing process improvement, new equipment implementation, or operational efficiency projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and automation.
- Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency is advantageous.
