About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Ingeniero de DevOps Senior - Automatización y CI/CD to join their technical operations team in Mérida, Yucatán . This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our software development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, and a passion for automation. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration at our Mérida office.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement and manage containerization platforms (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Automate application deployment, scaling, and management processes.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment processes.
- Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on‑call rotation as needed.




- Stay current with industry best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role.
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
