About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Coordinador de Programas de Prevención Social to join their team in Cancún, Quintana Roo . This role focuses on developing and implementing proactive strategies to address social issues and promote well-being within the community. The position involves a hybrid work model, requiring both on-site engagement for community activities and office-based tasks, as well as remote work for administrative duties and reporting. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating prevention programs related to health, education, substance abuse, and social integration. Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage social prevention programs.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify community risks and priorities.
- Develop outreach strategies to engage target populations.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, health centers, government agencies, and NGOs.
- Monitor program activities, collect data, and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports on program progress, outcomes, and recommendations.
- Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Supervise and train program staff and volunteers.
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for social prevention.





Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in program coordination or management, specifically in social prevention or public health initiatives.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing community-based programs.
- Strong understanding of social issues prevalent in tourist and local communities in Quintana Roo .
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting using relevant software.
- Experience in managing budgets and grant proposals is a plus.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
