About the Role

Our client is seeking a quantitative and diligent Analista de Riesgos de Crédito (Seguros) to join their risk management department in Zapopan, Jalisco . This role is critical for evaluating the creditworthiness of counterparties, partners, and large clients within the insurance sector, thereby protecting the company from financial losses. The adecuado candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial markets, credit analysis techniques, and the regulatory environment governing insurance companies. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit assessments, monitoring portfolio risk, and developing mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough credit analysis of potential and existing counterparties, partners, and clients.
- Assess financial statements, credit reports, market data, and other relevant information.
- Monitor the credit exposure of the company's insurance portfolio and identify potential risks.
- Develop and implement credit risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on economic conditions,



industry trends, and credit market developments.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business units to manage credit risk effectively.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.
- Assist in the management of collateral and guarantees where applicable.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or risk management, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and credit risk concepts.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with insurance company operations is a plus.
