In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate cash application processes that support the company's financial operations while helping ensure payments are applied correctly and efficiently across North America.
As a Cash Application Representative, you will research, analyze, and apply customer payments, resolve discrepancies, and support critical cash application activities for customers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
You will partner with internal stakeholders to investigate payment details, navigate complex customer remittance information, and contribute to operational excellence through quality, accuracy, and timely execution.

and Cash Application teamIndependently solve problems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the application of customer paymentsEscalate complex issues to senior team members and/or leadershipProcess a high volume of transactions each daySupport new team members by answering questions and supporting problem solving activities as neededAccurately and efficiently create and batch payments into the Cash Application system where automatic batching doesn't existPlay an active role by contributing ideas for developing process improvements with incoming paymentsSupport Mexico Cash Application process.Handle the processing of Complementos de Pago for Mexico tax compliance.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience in finance operationsFluent in English and SpanishGeneral understanding of banking transactions (ACH, wire transfers, checks, credit cards) with the ability to adapt to diverse payment methods and customer needsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs with intermediate proficiency in Outlook and ExcelStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with internal and external customersPositive, professional attitude, and customer service skillsStrong organization skills and attention to detailStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external customersEnjoys working in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organizationValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits plan above the Mexican Labor Law.
