TAX MANAGER | CORPORATE & INTERNATIONAL TAX ADVISORYMexico City | HybridWe are looking for a Corporate & International Tax Manager to join a specialized tax advisory firm in Mexico City.This role is primarily focused on strategic tax consulting / Tax Advisory, not on a compliance-driven function.What we are looking for7+ years of experience in corporate taxation.Recent and solid experience in a tax advisory firm, Big Four, or specialized tax boutique.Proven background in pure Tax Advisory / strategic tax consulting, serving external clients.Experience leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Advanced professional English.Certified / licensed Public Accountant.Relevant technical experienceWe are looking for direct experience in:Design and assessment of tax strategies.Corporate restructurings.Mergers and spin-offs.Dividends and capital reductions.Share disposals / sale of shares.Tax memoranda, opinions, and technical consultations.Analysis of alternatives, risks,
and tax implications.Double tax treaties.Withholding taxes and cross-border transactions.Advisory to multinational companies and large taxpayers.Tax authority procedures and related matters.Strategic advisory experience is essentialExperience predominantly focused on:tax calculations; tax returns;recurring tax obligations; tax accounting; oroperational tax compliancewill not be sufficient on its own for this position.We are looking for someone who can take a complex client situation, assess different alternatives, identify risks, develop a technically sound recommendation, and communicate it clearly to executive-level stakeholders.Management and business capabilitiesThe Tax Manager should also demonstrate experience in:Managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.Effective delegation and talent development.Follow-up and delivery of commitments.Anticipating risks and deviations.Managing project hours and profitability.Executive-level client relationship management.Billing and collections follow-up.Identifying additional client needs and business opportunities.The profile we are looking forWe are not looking for a strong technician only.We are looking for someone who combines:Technical depth + advisory judgment + leadership + project management + business acumen.The goal is to bring in a Tax Manager who can create value for clients, build a more autonomous team, and contribute directly to the profitable growth of the firm.
