GENERAL SUMMARY

The Dock Auditor reports to the Quality Manager or designate. This position is responsible for daily auditing of product quality to ensure product compliance with applicable QMS procedures and customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Completion dock audit inspection for all required product
2. Inspect stamped / welded / assembled product to standards defined in Quality Documentation and work instructions
3. Completion of visual and/or gage inspections
4. Completion of associated inspection documentation
5. Maintain records of audits
6. In addition to performing primary duties, the individual shall provide support where deemed necessary by Management
7. 5 S Work area organization adherence and improvement

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Education:
- High School Diploma





Experience:
- 2 years manufacturing experience
- 2 years computer (PC) experience

Personal/Technical Skills:
- Fundamental understanding of Quality Documentation and In-Process Inspection
- Knowledge of gage use
- Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
- Organizational skills to maintain required audits and documentation to schedule
- Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and follow written work instructions for gage use and part inspection
