AirNetworks is a growing Managed Service Provider based in San Antonio, Texas, serving clients across healthcare, legal, government, and SMB verticals in Texas. We are expanding our technical team to support a new white-label engagement with an MSP partner who has invested in the Kaseya stack but needs expert deployment and ongoing operational leadership.

The role and growth path

We are hiring a Senior Level 3 Engineer with deep hands-on experience in the Kaseya stack to lead the deployment, configuration, operation, and optimization of Kaseya platforms for our partner MSP. This is a true technical leadership role, not just an administrator position. You will be the Kaseya subject matter expert, responsible for building the practice from the ground up.

The engagement starts as part-time (approximately 20 to 25 hours per week) to match the initial deployment phase workload. As the Kaseya practice scales and operational demand grows, the role transitions to full-time within 3 to 6 months. This structure allows you to ramp up with the practice while maintaining flexibility during the setup phase.

What you will do

Design the architecture for multi-tenant Kaseya operations, including VSA, BMS (or Vorex), IT Glue, Datto RMM, Datto backup, Rapidfire Tools, Graphus, Dark Web ID, and other Kaseya modules the partner has licensed.

Build automation scripts, agent procedures, monitoring policies, patching schedules, and alerting workflows that scale across the partner’s full client base.

Integrate Kaseya with other critical platforms including PSA workflows, remote access tools, documentation systems, and ticketing.

Document all configurations, procedures, and runbooks to establish operational standards for the partner MSP.

Mentor junior and mid-level technicians on Kaseya best practices, troubleshooting approaches, and MSP operational excellence.

Serve as escalation point for complex issues that exceed Level 1 and Level 2 technician capabilities.

Lead client onboarding processes from the Kaseya side: agent deployment, discovery, inventory, baseline compliance, and monitoring setup.

Troubleshoot complex Kaseya platform issues, including agent connectivity, policy inheritance, automation failures, integration problems, and performance optimization.

Participate in strategic planning for expansion of the Kaseya practice as the partner grows.

Must have qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the Kaseya stack in a production MSP environment (not just end-user support).

Proven track record deploying Kaseya VSA (or Datto RMM) from scratch in multi-tenant environments.

Deep expertise with at least three of the following: Kaseya VSA, Kaseya BMS, Vorex, IT Glue, Datto RMM, Datto SIRIS/ALTO backup, Rapidfire Tools, Graphus, Spanning, Dark Web ID.

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and preferably Python for automation of Kaseya agent procedures and workflows.

Deep understanding of MSP operations: multi-tenant architecture, SLA management, client onboarding, change management, incident management.

Experience mentoring and developing junior technicians.

Business level English (ability to lead client-facing technical discussions and documentation).

Strong documentation discipline.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple initiatives.

Availability to start as part-time with capacity to scale to full-time within 3 to 6 months.

Preferred qualifications

Kaseya certifications (VSA Certified Administrator, BMS/Vorex Certified, IT Glue Certified, Datto certifications).

Experience with migrations from ConnectWise, N-able, Atera, NinjaOne, or Autotask to Kaseya.

Previous Level 3 or Technical Lead role in an MSP.

Exposure to regulated verticals (HIPAA, PCI, government compliance).

Microsoft 365 administration and Intune management.

Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy proficiency.

Experience building MSP service catalogs and operational playbooks.

What we are NOT looking for

To respect your time and ours, please do not apply if:

Your Kaseya experience is limited to being an end user of VSA from the client side.

You have only used Kaseya in a single tenant corporate IT environment without MSP multi-client exposure.

You are looking for a role with no client-facing responsibilities (this role requires direct communication with the partner MSP’s leadership and technicians).

You are not comfortable owning a technical practice from the ground up.

You require immediate full-time employment and cannot start in a part-time capacity.

Compensation and growth

Part-time phase (first 3 to 6 months):
Competitive part-time compensation (20 to 25 hours per week) aligned with experience. Specifics discussed during the interview process based on your background.

Full-time transition:
Compensation adjusts to full-time competitive rates as the role transitions, based on demonstrated performance, deployment milestones, and business growth.

Clear growth path to Technical Director or Practice Lead as the Kaseya practice scales.

Remote work with company-provided equipment and tools.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20.0 per week

Work Location: Remote
