Descripción SQL Developer | Data Warehouse & ETLWe are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join a fully remote, international project. The adecuado candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data warehouses.Location: Remote – LATAMContract Type: Freelance / ContractorWork Model: 100% RemoteLanguage: Advanced English requiredKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.Translate business requirements into efficient and maintainable SQL logic.Analyze execution plans and optimize queries to improve database performance.Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from source systems and AWS S3 into data warehouses.Implement data quality checks, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.Troubleshoot ETL failures, data discrepancies, and database performance issues.Document data flows, mappings, transformations, and technical designs.Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.Participate in code reviews and follow version control best practices.Required Qualifications3+ years of hands-on experience developing complex SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries,



and aggregations.3+ years of experience developing ETL processes for data warehouses.Proven experience with SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.Experience with at least one major cloud-based data warehouse, such as:SnowflakeDatabricks (preferred)Experience with at least one ETL tool or framework, such as Databricks, Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue.Ability to read and interpret SQL execution plans.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).Nice-to-Have SkillsBI & Reporting: Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling) and/or Tableau.Cloud Data Platforms: Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks.Programming: Python, Spark, or PySpark.Data Modeling: Dimensional modeling, star and snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables, Kimball/Inmon methodologies.DevOps & Tools: Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, job scheduling, and orchestration.Soft SkillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent time management and prioritization skills.Proactive mindset and willingness to suggest improvements.
