- Bachelor's Degree. 3 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.**Position Purpose**:
Determine the current and future needs of raw materials and components required. to meet the master production schedule.Provide timely inputs required. by the business units.
- Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Responsible to ensure material availability base on production and demand forecasts able to determine and adjust parameter in MRP.
- Handles part and engineering changes, avoiding obsolescence and material gaps, as per ECR, MCR or similar.
- Anticipates customer’s needs.
- Able to handle Min Max and discrete purchase as well as VMI accounts.
- Solve in major situations related to procurement, material control and planning.
- Sets controls and limits in metrics to ensure and avoid going out of control.
- Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification.
- Evaluates material forecast vs presente deliveries.
- Takes leader's role when necessary.
