transforming the way clinical care teams work and communicate.

We are looking for a Product Manager II to own the day-to-day product management of our Nurse Call product—a software-first solution combining durable nurse call hardware with configurable workflows, staff assignments, real-time locating system (RTLS) integration, and analytics. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who can independently turn clinical and technical needs into clear requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work directly with engineering to deliver reliable product improvements.

Your focus will be maintaining and improving the existing product, supporting customer installations, and delivering defined integration initiatives within established product priorities. You will help care teams manage patient requests through intelligent routing, escalation, and presence-aware call cancellation, while improving visibility into unit activity and responsiveness. You will also partner with Nurse Call engineering and cross-functional teams on integrations that support workflow automation and broader platform adoption. Success requires strong follow-through, sound prioritization, and clear communication about scope, dependencies, and delivery.

What You Will Do
Own the Nurse Call roadmap and backlog within established product priorities, balancing customer needs, product maintenance, integration work, and engineering capacity.
Translate clinical, customer, and technical needs into clear, testable requirements for the Nurse Call software platform and its integrations. Create epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, edge cases, expected outcomes, and success measures across core capabilities, clinical workflows, configuration and administration, reporting and analytics, hardware and device interactions, and integrations with RTLS, EHR systems, patient engagement platforms, mobile devices and applications, clinical communication solutions, and other healthcare technologies.
Lead product discovery and customer validation with customers, clinical stakeholders, implementation teams, support, and sales. Define problems, understand current-state workflows, evaluate clinical and technical constraints, test proposed solutions, and translate evidence into scalable roadmap recommendations within established product priorities.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, scope decisions, and product acceptance with engineering and QA; resolve open questions and keep delivery moving.
Partner with Nurse Call engineering, implementation teams,

and the platform team to deliver scoped integrations; clarify dependencies across nurse call hardware, EHR admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) data and staff assignments, RTLS, patient engagement platforms, mobile devices and applications, and clinical communication solutions.
Partner with Engineering, QA, and Regulatory Affairs to evaluate proposed product changes for their potential impact on existing FDA 510(k) clearances, UL 1069 certification, and regulatory obligations; incorporate applicable requirements and verification and validation activities into scope, acceptance criteria, and release planning.
Triage and prioritize defects and customer escalations, balancing urgency, clinical workflow impact, reliability, and delivery commitments.
Use support trends and workflow analytics—including call response times, request volumes, staff workload, and rounding activity—to prioritize quality and usability improvements; communicate release scope, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

What You Bring

Must Have
5+ years of product management experience in enterprise or B2B technology, with demonstrated ability to independently write clear requirements and user stories and deliver product improvements.
Experience with healthcare technology or other complex, operationally critical products, and the ability to learn clinical workflows and customer implementation needs.
Strong working knowledge of agile development, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and product acceptance; comfortable owning a mature product with ongoing maintenance and delivery needs.
Ability to engage credibly with engineering on technical trade-offs, system dependencies, and integration complexity, while communicating clearly with clinical and business stakeholders.
Ability to quickly learn and apply the regulatory and certification requirements relevant to Nurse Call, including UL 1069 and FDA 510(k), with guidance from Engineering, QA, and Regulatory Affairs. Understand that product changes may affect regulatory obligations, certification, verification, and validation; prior experience with these specific requirements is preferred, not required.

Nice to Have

Direct experience with nurse call systems, whether in product management, clinical operations, implementation, or a related technical role.
Familiarity with nurse call hardware—such as pillow speakers, dome lights, call stations, and emergency pulls—and its installation and serviceability.
Experience working with regulated medical devices or healthcare technology, especially products subject to UL 1069 certification and FDA 510(k) clearance, including evaluating how product changes affect compliance, certification, verification, and validation. Regulatory affairs expertise is not required but highly preferred.
Experience with EHR integrations, including ADT and staff assignments, clinical workflows, RTLS, patient engagement platforms, mobile devices and applications, clinical communication solutions, and workflow orchestration platforms.
Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or similar tools to document requirements and coordinate delivery.
Experience with clinical operations dashboards, response-time reporting, rounding workflows, or product analytics used to guide product improvements.

How You Will Use AI
Use approved AI tools to draft and refine product requirements and user stories, improving clarity while retaining ownership of the final output.
Synthesize customer feedback, support tickets, and stakeholder input to identify recurring issues and inform backlog priorities.
Generate first drafts of acceptance criteria and edge cases, then validate them with engineering and QA.
Review AI-generated content for accuracy and completeness, and follow company policies for confidential, customer, and patient information.
