About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Ingeniero de Seguridad en Redes to reinforce their security operations based in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico. This critical role involves safeguarding the company's network infrastructure against a wide range of cyber threats. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures, as well as monitoring network activity for any anomalies or potential breaches. This position demands a proactive approach to security, with a strong emphasis on prevention and rapid response. You will work closely with the IT department to ensure that all network-related security measures are up to date and effective. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage secure network configurations, including firewalls, VPNs, and routers.
Monitor network performance and security for potential intrusions or policy violations.
Analyze security alerts and events, and take appropriate action to mitigate threats.
Develop and maintain network security documentation and diagrams.
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure.
Stay informed about emerging network security threats and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into network design and deployment.
Troubleshoot network security issues and provide timely resolutions.




Develop and implement network access control policies.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in network security engineering or administration.
Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise-level firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network segmentation.
Experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Knowledge of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions.
Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or equivalent are highly desirable. Benefits
