About the Role Our client, What Jobs Direct, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Guadalajara, Jalisco. This role is essential for managing and optimizing the company's procurement activities and supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relations. You will play a key role in identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and supplier management.
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to achieve cost savings.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving issues.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.




- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain functions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
