About the opportunity

Anyone AI is seeking Chemistry Experts to develop challenging tasks that assess AI agents' ability to perform chemical reasoning - mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical interpretation. You will create original tasks and reference solutions, then evaluate frontier models using reaction schemes, spectra, and analytical data.

Company: Anyone AI Location: Remote Engagement: Project-based with adaptable hours Compensation: US$80-US$150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements

Responsibilities

- Design tasks on reaction mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical/spectral interpretation.
- Develop reference solutions that account for reaction conditions and lab safety.
- Evaluate output for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and misread spectra.

- Identify chemically unsound reasoning and overlooked conditions.
- Define criteria for chemical correctness, feasibility, and safety.

Requirements

- Degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent lab expertise.
- Graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience.
- Comfortable across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry.
- Experience interpreting spectra and evaluating synthetic routes.
- Fluent English, with strong written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications
