Call for Postdoctoral Fellowships OBJECTIVE T o attract talent in order to increase research activity and to assess a possible full-time appointment after the fellowship. DURATION One year, renewable for a second year. DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS Full-time dedication to the University. Carry out a research project under the supervision of a research professor at Universidad Panamericana. Publish under the Universidad Panamericana affiliation. Teach at least two courses during the fellowship year (i.e., at least one per semester). Supporting the supervision of undergraduate or graduate theses is recommended. REQUIREMENTS Hold a doctoral degree obtained no more than five years before the start date of the fellowship. Have at least one paper published or accepted for publication in a journal indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. Lineamientos para Estancias Posdoctorales BENEFITS A monthly stipend of USD $1,500 (net). Major medical insurance coverage for the duration of the fellowship. IMPORTANT NOTE This program is offered through an annual intercampus call. Participation in this call does not guarantee that support will be granted. PROCESS 1. Prior agreement with the UP researcher regarding this call. 2. Submission of documents no later than January 31.



Applications must be submitted electronically (as a single PDF file) and must include the following: Curriculum vitae. Copies of two academic works. One of them must be accepted or published in Scopus or Web of Science. Protocol of the research project to be carried out during the fellowship, including: title, general description, goals, expected final outputs, and the signature of the UP researcher who endorses or supervises the project (suggested maximum length: 2,500 words). Two letters of recommendation. Schedule of planned activities for the fellowship (1 page). Letter of application (free format). Doctoral dissertation, indicating the name and institutional affiliation of the principal advisor during the doctoral research (1 page). Copy of the doctoral degree. 3. Once the application is received, the Committee will review it. The final decision will be issued no later than May 31 of each year. This decision may be: Award of the stipend for one year. Rejection of the application, stating the reasons. The Vice-Rectorate General for Research will publish the results no later than June 30 of each year on the University's website. Postdoctoral fellowships begin in August of each year.
