Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement overarching communication strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
- Oversee all media relations activities, including proactive outreach, reactive responses, and crisis management.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Craft compelling narratives, press releases, speeches, and other communication materials for various audiences.
- Manage the company's reputation and public image, addressing potential issues proactively.
- Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals,



fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective communication across all platforms.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop and manage communication budgets and resources effectively.
- Represent the company in public forums and media engagements as required.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, and media management, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing complex, integrated communication strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
- Strong understanding of financial services industry and its media landscape is highly preferred.
- Experience managing remote teams and working effectively in a virtual environment.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives and top-tier media.
- Proficiency in PR software, media monitoring tools, and digital communication platforms.
