As a Mainframe Engineer, you will maintain and modernize critical COBOL applications on IBM mainframe systems. You will serve as a vital link between legacy infrastructure and modern business requirements, ensuring the reliability and evolution of core processing environments in key sectors like banking and insurance.

What You'll Do
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality COBOL code for mission-critical batch and online processing.
• Manage and optimize mainframe data structures using VSAM and DB2 to ensure high performance and integrity.
• Design and execute JCL streams to automate complex workload scheduling and resource allocation.
• Modernize legacy systems by refactoring code and integrating mainframe services with contemporary platforms.




• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within CICS and other core mainframe subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. What We Are Looking For
• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on mainframe systems.
• Proven expertise in maintaining and modernizing COBOL applications on IBM mainframes.
• Proficiency in core mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
• Hands-on experience with both batch and online mainframe processing environments.
• Deep understanding of mainframe application integration within banking, insurance, or government sectors.
