Join our team to validate next-generation automotive embedded systems, including instrument clusters and Heads-Up Displays (HUD). In this role, you will design automated test environments, execute system-level validation, and ensure our embedded software meets strict automotive performance, functional, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Test Strategy & Execution: Design test plans, functional specifications, and stress/stability tests across integration, system, and regression phases.
• Test Automation & Simulation: Build automated test scripts and simulations to drive continuous test coverage.
• Hardware-in-the-Loop & Bench Testing: Use bench tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, network emulators) to verify embedded software behavior on physical hardware.
• Protocol & Compliance Testing: Perform serial data compliance and physical/protocol layer testing.
• Triage & Quality Assurance: Track bugs, perform root-cause analysis, review test outputs from offshore partner teams,
and support CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Mentorship: Support and mentor junior validation engineers. What We’re Looking For Core Automotive & Hardware Skills
• Protocols: Strong expertise in CAN / CAN-FD, LIN, SPI, and I2C. Exposure to Automotive Ethernet (TCP/IP) or MOST is a plus.
• Tooling: Hands-on experience with Vector tools (CANoe, vTESTstudio) and physical bench equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, emulators). Automation & Scripting
• Proficiency in Python or C# for test automation development.
• Experience writing CAPL scripts for network simulation and testing. Experience & Background
• Demonstrated background in embedded software QA, systems validation, and defect management.
• Experience reviewing requirements, building risk-based test cases, and troubleshooting low-level communication issues.
