S.-based property insurance company specializing in catastrophe-exposed markets. This is a backend-focused role for a senior engineer who can combine hands-on development with technical leadership, requirements gathering, production support, and direct collaboration with insurance business leaders. What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain business-critical applications using C#, .
NET, ASP.
NET, and ASP.
NET Core
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, internal services, and third-party platforms
• Support insurance product development, underwriting, risk management, and operational workflows
• Translate business requirements from underwriters, actuaries, risk modelers, and product teams into technical solutions
• Own solutions from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing support
• Automate business processes through services, scheduled jobs, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Maintain and modernize legacy applications, including desktop solutions
• Diagnose production issues and implement timely, reliable resolutions
• Collaborate directly with senior business stakeholders and nontechnical leaders




• Establish technical direction while remaining actively involved in development Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .
NET, ASP.
NET, or ASP.
NET Core
• Previous insurance industry experience is required
• Experience with REST APIs, service integrations, and enterprise applications
• Strong relational database experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Experience gathering requirements and communicating with nontechnical stakeholders
• Ability to independently design, build, deploy, support, and troubleshoot applications
• Experience with production support, monitoring, automation, and root-cause analysis
• Technical leadership, architecture, consulting, or solution-design experience
• Advanced professional English for daily collaboration with U.
S.-based teams
