• Lead thorough incident investigations for accidents, injuries, and environmental releases occurring on site, conducting root cause analysis, developing effective corrective and preventive actions, and tracking their implementation.
• Design, deliver, and coordinate comprehensive HSE training programs for all site personnel, including specialized training on electrical safety, hazardous waste handling, confined spaces, and new equipment operation.
• Manage and update the site's HSE management system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, training matrices, and regulatory compliance records.
• Collaborate closely with factory management, production supervisors, and engineering teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily manufacturing operations and promote a proactive safety culture across the site.
• Interpret and ensure the factory's compliance with all applicable safety laws and regulations specific to heavy industrial manufacturing and the transformer industry.
• Prepare the factory for and actively participate in external HSE audits and regulatory inspections.
• Analyze site-specific HSE performance data, identify trends, and prepare detailed reports for factory leadership, including incident rates, compliance status,
and improvement initiatives.
• Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive site emergency drills and continuously review and update the factory's emergency response plans.
• Be a key driver in the implementation and maintenance of the site's Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, and Safety), ensuring that all HSE processes at the factory level are fully integrated and compliant with QMS requirements.
• Monitor and report on the site's QMS performance specifically in relation to HSE objectives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the QMS from a site HSE perspective and propose practical solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy, traceability, and control of all HSE documents and records managed at the factory within the QMS framework. Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Safety Engineering, or a related field or minimum 5 years of progressive experience in dedicated HSE roles within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or energy sector factory environment, with demonstrated success in implementing and managing site-specific HSE systems.

• Proven experience with risk assessment methodologies (e.g., JSA, PHA, HAZOP) and hands-on incident investigation techniques in a factory setting.
• Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing personnel from the shop floor to site leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities applied to real-world factory challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for detailed reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with factory operations and engineering teams, driving HSE excellence directly on the ground.
