About the Role Our client, a prominent organization advocating for women's rights and gender equality, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Asesor(a) de Derechos de las Mujeres y Equidad de Género . This role, based in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, MX , will focus on providing expert advice, developing policy recommendations, and implementing programs to advance gender equality and combat gender-based violence. You will work closely with local authorities, community groups, and women's organizations to foster systemic change and empower women. Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and policy advice on issues related to women's rights and gender equality.
Develop and implement strategies and programs aimed at promoting gender equity and empowering women.
Conduct research and analysis on gender-related issues, challenges, and opportunities in the region.
Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns on gender equality and women's rights.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, NGOs, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Support the development and implementation of policies and legislation that advance gender equality.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of programs and initiatives related to gender equality.
Assist in fundraising efforts by contributing to proposals and reports related to gender programs.
Advocate for the implementation of gender-sensitive approaches in public policies and programs.




Provide support and guidance to women experiencing discrimination or violence.
Stay informed about national and international frameworks and best practices in gender equality.
Requirements Master's degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Law, Social Work, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working on issues of women's rights, gender equality, or gender-based violence.
Demonstrated experience in program development, policy analysis, or advocacy.
In-depth knowledge of feminist theories, gender mainstreaming, and human rights frameworks.
Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in facilitating workshops and public speaking.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
Familiarity with the social and political context concerning women's rights in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, MX .
Commitment to promoting gender equality and social justice.
Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency is a strong asset.
